Dr. Ranjeet is the Director of the University of Connecticut’s Student Support Services program and Executive Director of the Center for Academic Programs, which houses UConn’s TRIO programs. Through her work at the University, she has been integral in providing access to higher education for students from Connecticut’s urban centers.
Dr. Ranjeet has made significant contributions to the University’s mission of promoting diversity through her collaboration with other campus departments and by developing innovative programming. Her commitment to students extends beyond just ensuring their success at the University; she is also the primary force behind the creation of the UConn SSS Education Abroad Programs.
Along with Maria D. Martinez and Helen A. Marx, Dr. Ranjeet authored “Creating Study Abroad Opportunities for First-Generation College Students” in The Handbook of Practice and Research in Study Abroad: Higher Education and the Quest for Global Citizenship.
