The Director of Employee Communications & Community Relations for Murphy Oil Corporation, Sandifer is part of the global internal marketing, communications and community relations team operating from the Company’s headquarters in El Dorado, Ark. Her team focuses on change management, branding and corporate citizenship. Since 2006, Sandifer has served as the Company’s liaison with community organizations and managed an ever increasing contributions budget. Katie is the administrator of Murphy-sponsored education incentive programs such the Murphy Education Program and the El Dorado Promise.
Over the last 17 years, Murphy has contributed over $2.1 million in academic incentives to students in the El Dorado School District through the Murphy Education Program, awarding students for their achievements on grade school benchmark exams and college preparatory exams. In 2007, the El Dorado Promise was established through the sole funding of Murphy Oil Corporation with a commitment of $50 million to send El Dorado High School graduates to college.
Sandifer is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University with a degree in Business Administration.
