The owner of Karmarush, Shah has a background in content delivery — including websites, data systems and video integration. He has had a vital role in the establishment of the New Haven Promise customized database, the online application process and the presentation of the annual Promise Scholar Celebration, which drew 650 celebrants in August.
Much of his work has involved the sport of track and field as he got his start at the Penn Relays as an undergraduate. He now oversees the entire entry and results system for America’s largest annual track event and was named the recipient of the Jesse Abramson Award for service to the event.
He also overhauled the fan experience at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York City, building a responsive website and developing a popular video experience for events — including the Millrose Games — for viewers both in-house and online. He also developed the first online ticketing application for the Center, which is the world’s mecca for indoor track & field.
Shah has served a diverse range of clients, including Aramark Higher Education, TD Bank, Five-Star Basketball, American Eagle, Ann Taylor, the Ivy League, the Philadelphia Phillies and the American Hearing Aid Association.
